All about him - Sylvie

Hi,
Masculine projects always seem to be a struggle for many of you. So we asked our talented DT to focus on samples for "him". The men in our lives, from children to adults, will get all the attention this week. And with Father's day coming up, it's perfect timing ;)

Let's start the week with Sylvie/Nefertiti and a beautiful gift idea: an altered notepad and a matching card using Crafty Individuals stamps and Kaisercraft papers and stamp.
Love the striking colour on there and can't wait to read what you think...

Tear some papers (Kaiserkraft) the same size as the notepad and glue them on.
Repeat at the back (MME papers)
This is the back of the note pad

Distress the edges with Distress inks
On a white piece of cardstock coloured with Distress inks (Squeezed Lemonade et Fired Brick) stamp and  clear emboss CI-336
Cut it out
Stamp the Kaisercraft background using Distress ink Aged Mahogagy on a tag coloured with Distress inks
-
Adhere the hot air balloon to the tag using 3D foam
Add the tag at an angle on the note pad.

Tear more Kaiserkraft paper and glue it to the note pad so it partially hides the tag.
Draw some diamond shapes on the Kaiserkraft paper, cut them out and distress them with black ink and add silver eyelets in the centre.

Glue the eyelets on the note pad  and add some Tim Holtz's tape

For the card, I masked the top of the white card before adding Distress inks to the rest of the card.
I used a Versamark pen to ink up the Hot Air balloon only, stamped it and embossed with black embossing powder.
I then added the paper and the diamonds with eyelets the same way I did for the note pad
